Some pretty good games on this list that come free. Tribes Ascend looks exactly like Halo! I'm hoping some ozbargainers will appreciate this list. Cheers.

    How dare you compare Tribes to Halo! Sacrilege!!! Besides, the Tribes franchise came first ;) (predates Halo by 3 years).

    Tribes Ascend is fun but there is a bit of a learning curve with regards to skiing, tactics and getting your head around disc physics.

    Quake always has fantastic local servers.
    Battlefield Heroes is nearly dead.

    Tribes looking like Halo is one of the funniest things I have heard.

    Tribes: Ascend has a bit of a Halo vibe in terms of its visuals but the gameplay is complete different (and a huge amount of fun!).
