Why their expiry date is only 2 and half years from manufacturing? Energiser has 8 years?
But energiser is 4 times the price?
if you use them in a device you use daily, like a car key fob, garage door opener then they wont last past 2-3 yrs anyway
Note that it isn’t the expected battery life, that’s how long the manufacturer expects it will stay fresh on the shelf until you use them. Once they’re put in a device their lifespan will vary a lot depending on usage.
That is the best thumbnail honestly. Perfection
What about this one..

All the button type batteries are being sold/cleared to make way for the new package design to meet child safety requirements.
Really? The supercheapauto one is a b|tch to get it out from the packing, thought thats already the child safe package.
Yep, The packaging is updated to require scissors and some manufactures have added a bitter agent in the hope kids spit them out if they put it in their mouth. https://www.duracell.co.uk/technology/lithium-coin-battery-s…
I just bought the chevron ones for $2, the packaging was already full plastic and requires scissors. I guess they didn't put a new barcode.
Finally they are matching online prices
