Silverstone SX-PT 750 W 80+ Platinum Fully Modular SFX Power Supply $141.33 + $5.99 Delivery ($0 mVIP/ C&C) + Surcharge @ Mwave

400

Good price for those who need the power in an sfx size but don't want to pay for a Corsair sf750. 1%/2% surcharge applies for select payment methods.

Reviews suggest it falls slightly behind the sf750 in most areas, but it's still a good unit and considering the sf750 is over $200 I'd still consider this a great deal.

  • Good price for a platinum PSU… all the Gold PSU fanboys are silent as this has ruined their Gold PSU sweet spot argument.

    • Most reviews say even Bronze is good enough for most home PC, no need to pay extra for these Platinum or Titanium rated PSU.

    • It's just a rating. There's plenty of variation within the same standard. I bought a 500W SFX-L for less than this a few years ago. Gold rated. The rating did not affect my decision to buy. It was more to do with the fact it was supposed to be silent and had a larger fan. They're also selling a 500W SFX model for slightly more than this, also gold rated.

  • Seen several psu on here the last few days, waiting for the sf750.

    • If someone is planning on getting the next GPU series, probably not a good idea to buy these PSUs which dont have support for the PCI Gen5 cable - check the connector with with 4 extra signal pins.

      • Hmm. I wonder if it will be used by most GPU board partners? The Nvidia 12 pin from the founders card wasn't used by most others this gen and I'm sure there will be adaptors anyway.
        Definitely something to consider though.

      This is SF750…

      • *SX-PT 750

      • No, that's a popular Corsair model.

        • Sorry, I thought Jaffle is just looking for the smaller form SF PSU, instead of the standard ATX.
If he is specifically looking at the Corsair SF750, then he just have to keep waiting. Corsair PSUs are popular, don't get discounted often.

  • No surcharge if you pay with afterpay

  • What's the noise levels like on this?
I'm currently running a Ryzen 5900x + Radeon 5700xt on a Corsair SF450, but want to give my next build a bit more headroom seeing as next gen GPUs look like they will be massive power hogs.

    • Sf750 has better fan than this. As long as you are fully loaded ur psu, no noise.

    • The review I linked in the post has some measurements on noise at a number of different loads

  • This PSU has loud noise even in updated version due to aggressive fan setting.

  • is it better than Corsair SF750?

  • Really good price guys ! Esp if you couldnt grab a SF750 for your rig

  • Does anyone know a good deal on an SFX at around 450W+, it's only running an RX570 & Ryzen 1300X.

    • +1

They have a 500W at $109. You're not going to get a whole lot cheaper without going well under 450 with a nameless gray box of questionable quality.

    • Maybe the corsair sf450?
