Not sure if it matters to anyone but I've found the measurements on the side of this bottle to be way off

It has marks on the side for like 500ml and 2l etc. They are not the same as any other item that measures liquid in my kitchen
2l as measured by my oxo stuff sits about half a cm off the 2l line in the jug
At 250ml it is the other way, 250ml on the oxo sits about half a cm above the 250ml line on the jug

I get it's cheap but for almost the same price you can get glass one that dosen't have a plastic taste
Do you have a recommendation on a glass one which is air tight? I’d be keen.
I tired looking on Amazon but it’s either not air tight or it’s like 10x the price.

Those are a pain to fill and the stoppers get gross and need replacing.
I haven't found a glass water jug worth a damn.
@coxymla: Yeah now I think about it, I'm looking for a good jug to store fresh squeezed juice so it needs a decent sized opening to be able to clean inside of it.

@unco: I use cleaned out pasata bottles, coles have big ones that go for around $1 on special.
