Kid's computer has died and thought I might replace it with a couple of cheap netbooks - might save the fighting between them.
Anyone know where I can get couple a netbooks pretty cheap? Happy with basic specs / XP etc - prefer new as I'd like them to have a reasonable battery.
Don't bother with Netbooks, unless you like the portability of a ~10 inch screen. Get one of those cheap Notebooks for $300-400 that occasionally pop-up here on OzB. With an i3 CPU on board, your Kids will be using the computer for years to come and will appreciate the larger 14-15 inch screen.
Last week Officeworks were selling Atom N570 netbooks for $258, but seems to be out of stock now.
