Cheap Action Camera / GoPro Alternative?

I'm looking for a budget action camera.

It will be mounted in a car that my daughter races in Khanacross.

Doesn't need to be too flash (anything will be better than holding a mobile phone by hand!)
Trying to keep it under $200 for the camera if possible .

The Zero-X brands at JB hifi do not get good reviews at all.
Kogan have got quite a few in this price range but no idea at all if they are any good or not.
There's Akaso brand on amazon that seem to have great reviews - I'm leaning towards the V50 Pro at the moment

I'm hoping someone may have experience with something inexpensive. I can't justify >$500 for a go-pro unfortunately,

    Maybe find a second hand GoPro model on Gumtree/FB Marketplace? Might be a high spec model there for $200 or less.

    Considered a used GoPro? You can get a Hero 5 Black or Hero 7 Silver for $200. Slap in a brand new battery and off she goes.

    I got impatient and ordered a V50 Pro off amazon, partly because she has an event this weekend so I can get it installed in time.

    The youtube reviews look really positive too.

    I'll update this topic once tested in case others are looking for a similar camera.
