I just went to GOG to buy the game. Maybe its a good time for ozbargainers to put some money into something worthy.
Yep. Did that two days ago and Slipways as well, which is probably the only game I bought with discount less than 50% in my 1000+ backlog. Don't know when I will play it though.
Yeah they're also putting all the money from purchases of the game and DLCs into a donation for the Ukrainian Red Cross.
Just a brief overview of the situation:
The CEO of the Sekurak paid 100,000 zl (~AUD 30,000) out of his own pocket to support Ukraine via Polish Red Cross. In return, 11-bit studios gave him ~50k keys for The War of Mine to give away. Everyone is very welcome to just grab the game, but also encouraged to support Ukraine in any way you can.
One of the easiest ways will be buying the game (or DLCs if you grabbed the free key) on GoG. It's heavily discounted and 100% of the profit supports Ukraine as well.

Bought the game on so many different platforms. One of the deepest games I’ve ever played. What a normal citizen can “benefit” from war? Get in the game and you will see.

There were 50 free keys yesterday, but the publisher has stated they are donating 100% of their profits to Ukraine (you can see the official statement on theit twitter) It's now down to $4.23usd ($6.16 AU for me after conversion) for the complete eddition I suggest you buy it it's a great game and you can help support Ukraine at the same time.
