                  @ensanguined: Let's hope! I checked this morning, Samsung themselves ran out of the 256GB ultra tablets, gotta think they have a serious stock issues.

                  I am not worried abt the charge they did unless I wanted to cancel my tablet order, because the final charge for the tablet will be less by the amount they already charged me. Just a little disappointing now I don't have my new toy for this weekend.

                  • @Findmebargain: I ended up cancelling my Amazon order. Samsung ignored all of my multiple emails about the issue and Amazon could tell me nothing, and I didn't want to risk getting the tablet too late and missing out on the offer.

    Just received Amazon delivery estimate for Ultra 256gb wifi 29th March to 1st May. Rediculous

    • What a joke. I emailed the two Samsung promotion email accounts a week ago asking if they will honour the promotion past April due to the delays and they both ignored me. Nice!

    I heard it takes maybe a day but on Samsung website it says up to 7 days. For those receiving their tablets late in the month you do not have much time to get redemption code then to order the free promotion products.

    What about the free $100 Amazon credit that supposed to be used before the month ends as well.

    Might as well return tablet if cannot get both.

    We should all make a complaint to Fair Trading.

    I can confirm from my own experience that the $100 bonus credit was issued by email at the same time Amazon charged and invoiced upon shipping the order.

    The expiry of the promo credit remains 31/5/2022 as per OP, which means I have a month and a half to spend it all.

    I have noticed a change to the due dates mentioned in OP which may benefit some of you who are still waiting for your delivery. The period for claiming (register for) the promo code is now 30/4/2022 as per https://www.samsung.com/au/shop-gift/, extended from 1/4/2022 noted in OP.

    You now have until 15/5/2022 (extended from 15/4/2022) to redeem your gift once you have your promo code.

    So fingers crossed Amazon will have all pre-orders delivered this month or at least a few days before 30/4/2022.

    So I emailed.

    Now I am on my way to Garden City Samsung Kiosk…

    I can't find the original Promo page for Tab S8 Ultra because it has ended.

    Amazon Live Chat told me the promo is Legit and claimable.

    This ordeal has raised my blood pressure . ..

    • Where did you get it? Amazon directly? Of course it's a participating retailer (https://www.samsung.com/au/offer/galaxy-tab-s8-offer/terms/), unless you got it from the Marketplace?

      • 100% Amazon sold and shipped.

    • If you purchased from Amazon AU, you would have a Tax Invoice issued by "Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd trading as Amazon AU" being a valid Participating Retailer in your proof of purchase used in claiming.

      • That's exactly what it says on the invoice

    • I'm encountering this too, I've called at least 8 times and emailed multiple

      • I went to the Samsung Kiosk on Saturday, and the store manager asked me to email promos.au for resolve. And if that doesn't work, he will call the Area Manager to escalate.

        So I'm still waiting for promos.au to reply since Saturday.

        I also have an email from tech support department, telling me that I should email the the people who doesn't reply and call the phone that doesn't get answered.

        • I called at least 6 customer service reps today, could hardly hear any of them

          They all kept saying Amazon marketplace is not valid retailer

          So majority of staff have got the info wrong just like "Fobman" below has said

          I finally got through to one who was going to approve it then I went on hold and they hung up

          I have sent a lengthy email to the promo one, but also put another claim in today and have got the exact amazon tax receipt, I only used screenshots of my account etc

    Must be Samsung customer care person not properly trained or know about differences between Amazon AU and third party Amazon.

    Hope this is sorted out for when I have to deal with ordering the free promotions

      And all of them hung up on me after a few mins

        There are many with the same problem, but one moderator called Laura is replying to messages.

  • We need to message Jeff Bezos to communicate to Mr Samsung to sort out this mess. Unbelievable.

    I'm sure there is no third party Amazon AU seller that even has stock to sell.
