well, agree that a one-off code shouldn't be dragged along for this long, more than 6 months in this case… Its like the xx% off your first order code which is available on the majority of the retailers.

Can't see the chain inside the fabric sleeve in the photos - could be a thin bit of wire for all we know. Or even worst - a thin chain made of links without any welding at all
