  • It says $0 for Pickup/Shipping but shipping was $30 for me when I checked out. Should make the title a bit clearer in regards to that

    • you read it wrong, but i can see your mistake.

      $0 pick up or shipping.

Also REP how many you got over there?

      • We have more than 50.

    • The Title has been modified, thanks for your suggestion!

+1 because the price reflects the terrible-ness.

  • is postage cheaper if we buy a bulk?

    • Sorry, the price already on the bottom, we cannot do any cheaper. But you can arrange the delivery by your self, then you can compare the postage, if you can get cheaper from others, just pay for the $2 is very welcome!

    • Not sure you'd even want one of these in the house, let alone more than one…

with that said though, it actually is a bargain. But like somebody said, the price reflects the terribleness :D

i didn't realise this was a real product, i saw Ellen 'promote' it …i guess it's like the shake weight where it is real but stupid to use

  • FWIW, Shipping to Melbourne was $21.30

    • +1

FWIW, Delivered to Perth is $46.96 (including 2% PayPal Fee + Item Cost)

  • This is great for those serious performance discussions:

    shakes waist

    "You're fired."

Will this support the weight of two people?

    • +2

We don't really suggest to be sited on more than one person.

    • I'll try three. How much worst could it be, 2 bucks lost and a few bruises.

Bottom line: The Hula Chair provides hilarity, excitement, suspense and an element of danger. What it doesn't offer is actual exercise.

  • got one thanks

  • what do you have to say about this

Why do you have a phone number advertised if you dont pick up?

I have bought 3 of these chairs, Can I pick them up today?

        11am - 4 pm Mon to Friday???

Come on many, no weekend pickup?

You expect me to take a day off and come pick it up?

        Not even Saturday??

  • Is this the electric hula chair?
It has programmable functions and runs on power?

    Thanks.

    • Yes for all your questions!

    • Yes take a day off.

    • Sorry for the inconvenience, the phone line just got problem today!

    • Ridiculous ilsan. You bought it so go get it - how you do that is your OWN problem. They don't 'expect' you to take a day off.

A dodgy exercise machine, brilliant Engrish from the rep and innuendo out the endo - all for the low low price of $2. Bargain!

  • You can use it like a normal chair if it's not plugged in right? So $2 for a chair is not too shabby.

  • +1

I originally read this as "Hulu Chair" and was very confused.

… Although to be honest, the actual product doesn't make all that much more sense anyway ;)

I just set this up at home. It's hilariously fun to sit on. Great for kids! Better than giving them $2 to put in the stupid gumball machines.

AHAHAHAHAHA ROFL….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDnoKJYN_M8 that made my day!!! =D

  • I ordered 1 when the link went up, however I still have not received the direct deposit details via email???

  • thanks! just ordered 2

  • Rep, I ordered one and have a confirmation. Will my chair be reserved for me to pick up & pay on Monday? Thanks!

    • Yes, we will keep it for you.

  • Just received mine.
    Its rated for 100-110v.

Looks like i have another white elephant at home…

Can anyone confirm whether it works on on 220-240v ?

    Update:
Just opened it and found that the transformer inside is indeed 220v.

    It works!

Damn. I spoke too soon. Burned out after 10 minutes. Opened it up again and further investigation shows that it is indeed a 110v motor.

Very poor form Greatmark. It's obvious why you were clearing stock….

    • So they used a 220V transformer for a 110v motor? How was that meant to work?

      • The transformer is for the control circuitry, probably rated 100-240v.
Motor feeds off AC mains (neutral wire, while live presumably gets fed from a relay on the control board. )
Motor has a sticker that confirms it as 100-110v.

        Has anyone else received theirs?

        • Surprised no one else has mentioned this?

I would check but can't. Left work early today from the city and drove out to Wetherill Park to collect this, calling them multiple times from 2 onwards but no answer to confirm that they are open till 4 as stated on their website.

Sure enough I arrive at 3:50 and the shutter is down and the warehouse locked up. Ask the neighbouring warehouses which are all open and they said GM often closes before 4.

Aaaargh I am so pissed. As someone pointed out above, why have a phone if you're not going to answer it?

Contemplating whether to go to whoop whoop again or just reverse the $2 given there's this 110v issue as well..

  • Just picked up one this afternoon.
Unbox it at home, set it up but found it totally not work!!!
Just pay $2 for a very heavy chair~

  • Does no one else have a problem with this unit ?

    • Nope. Despite my thoughts above I went again and picked it up. Of course no point ringing beforehand. Got it home and assembled on the weekend. Had little nieces and nephews over - we all had the best time, just like the Ellen videos. Lots of cracking up and no dog house for bringing it home :)

No voltage issues - I think you motor burnt out because if it was 110 wouldn't the whole thing have blown straight away and not run for 10 min? I remember when a mate bought a treadmill back from the states. Forgot to put a voltage stepper and the thing went boom as soon as he turned it on.
