I Cannot Place an Order on Telstra / Boost Mobile Any Longer

Last time, I ordered 2 Nest hub on Telstra. When I tried to place the third order, like the most people commented, the request become HTTP 403. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/11739666/redir

Today I tried to purchase a SIM card on boost mobile, and when I submit my order, it shows "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.". When I trace the HTTP request, it shows the similar reason.

{..."status":"DECLINE","score":"28","fraudAssesmentExecuted":"Y","serviceRequestRaised":"N"}},"errors":[{"message":"Possible Fraud","code":"403"}

Anyone has experience solving this?

  • Check for any issues with the card you are using, unexplained transactions, expired card, lack of funds, or blocked by the issuer perhaps?

    Code 403 means your card has been declined.

      I tried different cards, Commbank Debit, Zip Pay one-time card, Revolut card and even an overseas credit card with no luck. I guess my name / address was an element of their Fraud detection service.

    • The cards should be alright, I used them on Amazon online, Woolworth in-store with no issue.

  • Best bet would to contact at least one of your card's issuers and ask them if they are aware of any problems. They would have more ideas than I can come up with.

    • Telstra says its fraud detection prevent the order to be finalised. The card issue says Telstra purchase not even reach them and they have no idea.

  • Are there any unauthorised transactions on your account?

    • No unauthorised transaction. I just tried my card on Amazon 2 mins ago and worked.

    Can you contact Telstra and ask them about the alleged fraud on your account?

    They may not tell you but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

  • Did you get this fixed?

    • Yes. It allows me after couple of months.

        how did you fix it?

        • I did nothing. I just stop buying anything from them for months and it's recovered.
