Great price for a quality microphone. But just be aware it's an XLR and not simple USB plug and play.

Behringer UM2 U-PHORIA UM2 MIDI Interface, Black - $62.65 (Save 34%) for the next 10 hours as well.

  • Any good for recording songs?

    • It’s good for isolated vocals, I recommend a pop filter on these, though.

If only I could upgrade my voice as easily as I could upgrade to a quality mic. ;-)

    • With a bit of clever mixing you can sound pretty good. You would be surprised at how most amateur singers sound without mixing.

      • I know all the tricks. I can't hold a tune. I can get my voice to sound okay for spoken word. But just okay obviously not James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman good…

        • That's why I stick to just SingStar still.

Doesn't come with an xlr cable so make sure to buy one

Can anyone recommend a boom arm for this mic?

Rode PSA1 - buy once buy right

I was hoping for one that didn't cost more than the microphone

        • Pretty much any neewer boom arm on amazon which is 30-40 bucks. The PSA1 is functionally the same thing but with a more '''''pro''''' look and brand name to bump up the price several fold. Welcome to audio equipment where people will constantly try to upsell you on overpriced gear.

  • I've had this mic for years, brilliant. This is an AMAZING price too. I have mine on a cheap ebay arm, which is pretty crappy, noisy and floppy. Luckily I don't adjust mine much anyway. Running it through a behringer USB mixer (their cheapest one) into my PC. I also got 5 acoustic tiles and made a sound absorbent cube with one side open and sit it right by the mic. Does a great job quietening the room's echo.

  • Price reduced further!
