Logitechshop invoice/receipt

Hello,

I bought a logitech harmony one from Logitechshop back in 2010 and now wanting to replace the fading battery only to discover it's swollen! Apparently it's a known issue with a batch in 2010 and Logitech are replacing them. However, I need an invoice for my purchase!

All I have is a paypal receipt - I didn't get emailed an invoice nor did one come in the shipment. I looked on the LS website and even my order back in late 2010 on it is missing.

How can I get an invoice for my Harmony one purchase? Quite dodgy of logitechshop not to provide one.

  • Wouldn't the Paypal receipt be enough proof?

    • Unfortunately the paypal receipt doesn't show the product name, only a logitechshop item # code :-(

  • Have you asked Logitechshop for the invoice? Isn't the retailer supposed to take care of recalls/faults?

    • I'll try sending another email. It's not an official recall…

  • I have 2 seperate purchases from Logitechshop and each time they came with invoices in the box.
    I threw them out as I have a history of purchase when I login to my account on the logitechshop's website.

    • Hmm, I must have bad luck with them as I've purchased items from them 3 times now and no invoice has ever arrived with the shipment :-(

        Sometimes it's in the clear mailing address label envelope on the front of your package, behind the bit with your address. I've lost count how many packages I've nearly thrown away without cutting it out first to find some important documents. Not saying LTS do that though, I can't recall what packaging they use at the moment.

        We supply a tax invoice with every item shipped, as stated by someone else usually it is in a clear envelope stuck to the box if the item is a box, if its a satchel, it is usually inside. Please note that also a PayPal receipt is enough for us to get a duplicate resent as on our end the PayPal transaction shows the order number and the item purchased. Having said that feel free to email us at [email protected] and we are happy to help out in anyway we can.
