Would say it's typical targeted as it is "limited to intended recipients only".
Works out better if you're having a big meal. (As opposed to ordering twice).
Even with the mark-ups it works out pretty well for my lunch. (And I do pick-up to avoid service/delivery fees.)

Would be more tempted to order if they got rid of the stupid service fee.
Warning: For some restaurants Uber Eats charge almost double the price compared to the direct restaurant price, so 50% discount is almost useless. So check prices before you place your order.
