$0.30 for the first year, $28.23 for second year onwards.

PS disregard this and go with CloudFlare
I learnt something new, that cloudflare also does domain names and apparently doesn’t charge anything for themselves. Credit to /Hybroid

  • Wow they are not cheap (ongoing)

I’d go with google domains at $18/yr
Or get this deal for first 2 years and then transfer domain.

Cloudflare offers at-cost domains USD 8.57 with no fees.

Oh wow this is helpful. Interesting how cloudfare apparently doesn’t make any money on it.

Yep, not sure why you'd use anyone else for a long term domain.

    • Godaddy are no longer to go-to domain registrar.
Their prices have skyrocketed over the years.

this so called deal, isn't really because you still have to pay for the 2nd year at their inflated prices.

Use Cloudflare and you can get your domain name for under $10 per year. You could buy exactly the same domain for 3 years and pay a similar amount upfront, and only 1/3rd of Godaddy's price ongoing.

  • .Com Domain for $0.30 (Min Spend $28.53)

What does that mean? You need to purchase more than 95 domains?

      Nice quick math there JV

    This isn't cheap - it's a ploy. Namecheap.com is $24 for 2 years…

    • +1

Namecheap is $19.40/yr unless you use a first time user coupon code ‘NEWCOM598’ which it brings first year down to $5
You should be posting that as a deal here. Seems better than GoDaddy.

Oof. $28.53 for 2 years minimum is a bit much. I pay about $11-$12 a year for mine through CloudFlare. This really isn't a deal

  • +3

Not a bargain. Cloudflare domains are US$8.57 per year for an identical (perhaps better) service.
They now register new domains as well as renewals.

  • +3

    Expensive.
Lots of other registrars that are cheaper for 2 years

  • porkbun has .com for sale $4.75 first year, Renew at $9.3.
You can just pay $4.75 for the 1st year, then transfer out.

  • Bah humbug, that 2nd year kills the "deal".
