I'm about to renew a domain and was wondering if there are any discount codes etc floating around that anyone knows of before I pay full price? I did a search but it only comes up with those hacky coupon code sites that never work.
Thanks all :)

And? I'm not sure what your point is. I'm asking for discount codes, not if it's the cheapest.
Good luck getting useful help now lol
For having to clarify what my original post was about? lol okay
https://quantumcore.com.au/ cheaper
That is cheaper. Does anyone know if it's illegal to buy and sell Australian domain names?
I think the only real requirement is having an ABN that I know of.
@subywagon: I have one of those, but can you put a "for sale" parking page on an Australian website? Can you list it on any domain marketplaces? There's a lot of mystic about Australian domains and I feel like a lot of the info out there is either out of date or just not enforced at all.
@AustriaBargain: I guess the only thing which could be an issue is that the buyer would have to hold an ABN too.
I'd consider selling mine for a good price if another Australian company had a similar name etc and wanted to pay a good price for my domain name.
I'd be surprised if it was really enforced, maybe if someone wanted the domain they could complain if you were just selling them.
I think if I recall correctly a client might have had their domain name sniped and it was then held up for sale for some ridiculous price…. I think it was a .com.au
You could buy a couple of domain names and try it. Worse that would probably happen is you'd lose control of those domain names I reckon.
Awesome. Thanks for the helpful reply. I hit up ventraIP to see if they could prive match.
How did you go?
@MinimalistWallets: No good so I jumped ship.
@subywagon: To Quantumcore? VentraIP has been good but I think I'll do the same, it stings on a 5 year renewal!
@MinimalistWallets: Yeah, Quantumcore. VentrIP were great, but their prices went too high unfortunately. Quantumcore have been just as good so far.
Isn't Ventra already the cheapest .com.au option?
