Hi fellow OzBargainers!
Keen to see who on here has actually added garage door insulation?
I have seen ThermaDoor, KoolDoor, Foilboard and even foil rolls from Bunnings.

Thanks for the tip. My garage door motor struggles as it is, had been wondering about insulation and this helps me realise it would be a bad idea at the moment.
After insulating your panel lift door, tensioners have to be adjusted to take the extra weight of the insulation, even though doesnt seem much, but in the long term can burn your motor if not adjusted. Plenty videos on youtube how to do (very dangerous if not good with tools advise to use a profesional int hat case)
60mm Anticon Blanket affixed with reinforced insulation ducting tape. It is 60mm glass wool insulation with foil backing, usually sits under colorbond roofs as an insulation layer.
The weight of the material to do a double garage door is pretty minimal. Used about 1/2 roll from memory.
Bunnings sells Earthwool Space Blanket which is basically the same thing.
Are you worried that your car might get cold or something?
It can also keep the noise out.
Helps keep the carbon monoxide’s warm for when you are having trouble sleeping too.
Reduces heat considerably. Metal garage doors are big heat exchangers.
What sort of door?

Be very, very, VERY careful when doing this. The tensioners and springs on the door are tightened to an exact point to cater for the width, length and weight of the garage door. My one snapped and the door slammed down 3 weeks after installing the insulation. I got 5 different repairers to have a look and they all told me the same thing. The door was consequently repaired to allow for the the extra weight of the boards (and yes i know they're very light on their own)
