iCloud Storage Deal / Hack / Options

Hi everyone,

I love this community.

I was just wondering if there were any deals, hacks or best ways to go about buying iCloud storage?

I wasn't sure if there are any current deals, geography hacks (via VPN, etc.), or general knowledge to get the best ongoing deal.

Any advice would be great - I was looking at investing in the 200GB option @ $4.49 per month.

The only viable option is to subscribe to 2TB and then include a couple of best mates into your Apple ID “family”. This way someone will pay $14.99 (if I recall correctly) per month but the storage can be shared with up to 6 users.

You really don’t want to change the country of your Apple ID, trust me. That will change the country for the App Store, meaning that your apps will have to be repurchased and subscriptions will have to be redone as well… it is a mess.

Use Onedrive, If you have an MS Office license/yearly subscription..

  You can't use Onedrive to backup iPhones.
  You can use Onedrive to backup tons of stuff from iPhones, but iPhone backups live in iCloud.

    I backup my photos and documents to onedrive and everything else to icloud. Seems to always stay under 5GB pretty easily.

I use the 50gb plan to backup 4 iPhones and 2 iPads to the cloud without photos.

OneDrive does the photo backup.
