I entered a competition to "win a free suit." Then I was called from a private number only a day or so later. Apparently I am a "runner up" so I have a $100 coupon for a suit. Great. Or so I thought. Their suits are like $10,000. Ok, so out of my budget. No worries, I just won't shop there.
The same exact thing happened to my partner. So obviously it's some kind of marketing technique.
My partner and I are constantly being phoned by them, trying to sell us a suit. It's predatory. It's not a real competition, it's a marketing ploy to get personal details like somebody's name and phone number.
If the business owner is reading this, STOP calling us, STOP leaving voice mails and stop with the predatory "competition" to get contact information.
Just re-reading the competition, I have noticed that THE PRIZE DRAW HASN'T EVEN BEEN DONE YET.
Not happy!!!
super annoying got a missed call from this place after entering and an email.
