Hi, This is my first post/Bargain. Please be gentle.
I saw this on GOG.com, 50% off The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, The Director's Cut and DRM Free. So you can re-install and back up as many times as you want.
So? How was my first post/Bargain?

why?
Because I'm scared someone might bite my head off for something wrong in the post/bargain. =)

For first time posters, one thing to avoid is, telling the community that you are new and
asking them to take it easy on you. A number of people have tried this as their opener and it does not go down well. There are icons next to user ids to indicate if this is your first post and if you are still new to OzBargain.
Okay, didn't know that, thanks for the info. I guess I should've the guidelines more thoroughly, instead of skimming over it.
Don't do it again… ;)
if you do it again I will report your post.
Don't worry, if you're new here, you'll quickly learn jv's just like that.
Please be gentle.
why?
Because newcomers & lurkers can plainly see what a whiny bunch of pedantic tarts certain OzB'ers can be at times.
Therefore, if the incumbent community makes it too onerous for noobs to make a post, many will simply stop doing it…as have many long-term OzB members in fact. The reality is that we all lose out then, coz a shitload of great random bargains have come from first-time posters!
no worries Bra…good find mate
First post = Training Bra
Good deal, this sort of price for TW1 comes around a fair bit. For 5 bucks this game is a steal. 40 hours of a really atmospheric, adult RPG that isnt designed for retards.
fantastic game one of the best I have played, the 2nd one is even better. for $5 this is a steal.
I know I'm going against the grain here but I absolutely hated The Witcher.
Something about the incredibly budget, Eastern-European production values from CD Projekt (especially the voice-acting), the generic story and the button-masher combat mechanics made me give up after about an hour of playing.
It also looks incredibly dated, even when it was new the Aurora Engine was was already a year old having been salvaged from Neverwinter Nights.
This is a deal for what you're getting, even if the game was $10.
It's strange that the developer's store (gog.com) lists windows as the sole operating platform for this game.
Steam offers this for both win and mac. Can anyone confirm that this deal includes the mac version?
It only very recently came out for mac, and steam works great for mac games thanks to steam play. GOG might put the mac download up on their site in the future for everyone that owns it but not confirmed AFAIK.
How do I add a thumbnail to the post?
Edit: Nevermind =)
