Been on the usual flicking through the XBOX Store when seeing this platforming game called “Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield” come up as “Free with Xbox Live Gold”. Listed RRP is A$17.95 and it even has Smart Delivery for XSS and XSX. Game is described as:

“ Survive A futuristic Tokyo style Detroit in this 3D runner that tells the story of Wally who has
uncovered the evidence that can change his city forever. Explore a game world with a dope-tastic
soundtrack featuring the authentic sounds of Detroit Artist.”

Seemed to be a bit of shovelware according to one review on the Xbox Store but checked out review elsewhere and it is around 3/5 or 6/10 in most gaming review places. Plus the soundtracks are pretty slappy so not too bad for a freebie.

  Is it really a freebie, if you need to subscribe and pay to get it? i dont have a subscription, so it isnt free

    I mean I just assume most XBOX owners nowadays must have Ultimate Game Pass anyway to take advantage of the free first party and other notable releases to reduce the cost of buying games.

      If I tell you for a 1 million aus$ subscription per month, i will give you up to 10 000 unique games for free every month, are the games really free?

        But the post says for Xbox live gold, so if you could read you should know that Xbox live gold is not free, so unless you have it then it doesn’t apply to you

  I was gonna post this a couple of days ago but then i realised, as greenlego said, it's just one of the GwG for this month is all. Obviously such a forgettable entry i didn't even remember that's why it was free lol.

    Ah ha. Didn’t know there was another game on top of the 3 free Live Gold games. Thanks for the clarification. Tbh bit of a ehhhh game.

  Yeah I was aware if Broken Sword 5 but not the other two. Was out of loop with XBOX services for 4 years and only got back to Gamepass via XSX from Feb 22 so wasn’t aware that they did refresh their games on the 16th each month.
