I have a coles no annual fee credit card. Let say if I only have $3k limit and $3k credit available. Can I deposit $3k to the card then make a $6k purchase, and get 6000 flybuy point?
you have to do a Bpay payment to your Card.
Wait for that payment to clear out.
Coles will send you email saying they received a payment of $X amount.
then you can also see in the app, available funds will go above $3000.
You can but you will need to do it quickly.
From my experience if you take the card over its limit they generally issue a refund cheque (if no bank account info is known) within 24 hours
Might have changed,i no longer have a coles mastercard but i attempted what you were planning.
I had a direct debit set up for payments each month.
the additional money hit my card in the morning, it was removed from card balance about 7 hours later and was in my Direct Debit bank account the next morning.
