I’m new to 3d printing but these Chinese sites really frustrate me. It’s all about the “shipping from” and “shipping to”. I log in and I find something I want like a build plate or nozzle and then I have to see where it ships from (usually from the US or China). Lots of them have warehouses in Australia. Why can’t I go to the site, check a box that says I’m in Australia and see stock that’s in Australia? Sheesh.
Yep.
That exact feature is what got me more loyal to banggood.Printer and magnectic plate are shipped from Australia warehouse(located in Sedney) other accessories ship from China.
Sedney?
Sydney, sorry
AUSS3 discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart
Australia (to AU only) / SV01
Please Click go to deals, you see that in the picture? This link doesn't have ship from Australia opotion, as this link is only for Australian. I guess you clicked the link which has many opotions that doesn't work for the discount.

Any offers on the Sv02? Interested in the SV02 touchscreen if its only gonna be an extra couple bob and I hear it is significantly quieter
Sorry, currently don't have.
How is this or ender 3/v2 be ever a match against Voxelab Aquila for approx ~210AUD? Especially if PLA/PLA+ is what you are after. I've been using it for the past 6 months with 200% satisfaction. Started with stock firmware and didn't have any problems. Used the a4 sheet calibration and very rarely did I need to touch the base plate.
Then moved to aleqz's Marlin fork and been using that since along with Octopi (Tape the vcc pin in the USB to avoid your pi to power your board). This is the max you need to go. until something breaks which is very rare.
I also tried BLtouch for a while but it was more pain that just using the paper and calibrating once in a blue moon than wasting time inputing the BLTouch delta with your nozzle. I just reverted to the regular firmware eventhough BLTouch is still attached.
Voxelab Aquila : Best 3d printing experience ever and will get N no of those even if I decide to move to a business model.
If you planning to get something serious with flexible materials then direct drive is a must. But you can do direct drive mode with just a mount using the supplied stepper or get a light weight stepper. Not sure how much difference the dual-Z can make though.
Also something to consider: This has a much larger print bed 240x280x300 compared to 220x220x250 of Aquila/CE3D. That may demand a dual-Z. So for it's larger print volume and direct drive this is equally valuable deal compared to an Aquila. Display unit is nothing compared to Aquila but honestly not much use for the display after the initial setup and then if you are planning to use a print server like Octoprint/Octopi then Display is not at all a factor.
This one's mainboard still has that dreaded mini-usb. But worst case hot glue the usb cable and forget it.
Dual Z is nice, Direct drive….eh.
I'd still lean towards the Ender 3 v2. Better screen, and more importantly the most "supported" entry-level printer on the web.
~AUD$276, unfortunately, more like ~$290 (+3% on some cards).
