  • Cleans well & tastes good but doesn't whiten. Used it for years. Switched to Optic White with 3% hydrogen peroxide and it's a huge difference.

    • I think the 3% peroxide Colgate works, but it could just be my imagination.

    • Just my opinion as I'm certainly no dentist but you've got to have the peroxide for a proper whitening toothpaste. Lots of people say not to use it constantly though as it's not meant to be great for teeth long term.

  • i prefer colgate total … 12 hours protection … not sure if true

      If you brush when you wake up and when you go to bed then that's like 4 hours where you are unprotected.

      • true , i have colleagues that brush after lunch … not sure if ocd or just caring their teethes
