Hi. Need to buy a new Desktop for altium designer. Cad software. Circuit design software 2d and 3d.
Need fresh CPU. Intel 12th gen i7 or i9 or AMD r7/r9 all are well within spec.
DDR5 ram is needed. Prefer 32 GB
Need a 3d card but a 3060 to is.more than enough
1tb ssd
The closest deal I can get (only 16gb) is this dell xps. Not sure if I can upgrade the ram from 16 to 32 as the add to cart fails.

I have been waiting quite a few weeks for another sale ebay… they have been rather hard to nail the exact system… I was keen on the 3080TI one from late November last year… but yeah…
ended up buying the sell 8950 deal with 32gb ram 12th gen i7 and 3070 graphics card for $2300 down from $3200

Are you sure Altium Designer is for CAD as the searches result in a schematic/routing/layout/BOM.drill etc PCB app. Altium Designer can render the final PCB in 3D so you can see it.
I have not used any Altium product for 30 years, but now days use KiCad as it does what I want and it's the right price and is not a resource hog.
