      You're welcome…

  • Really want a great deal on the Duo Crisp to replace my off-brand pressure cooker and my K-Mart air fryer! Doubt I’d use anything else to cook with that delightful implement

Sure you want to spend more on a more complicated device only not to be able to do two things at a time, because your electric pot/pressure/slow/rice cooker/air fryer/oven are going to be the same thing?

      • agree with above - the idea of the Instant Pot is that you can prepare a meal in a single vessel, i.e. saute then slow-cook or pressure-cook. It's a natural fit. I don't see when you'd combine Air Frying with another mode of cooking the same meal?

        • also the air fryer lid is huge and awkward to pack away, negating my hope off less clutter

  • Good for cooking rice, or a rice cooker does the job better?

    • +2

A rice cooker is an entire class of devices and rice cookers usually don't pressure-cook your rice if you prefer it that way.

Generally I wouldn't buy Instantpot >only< to replace a rice cooker, if that's your motivation here.

  • Still waiting to open that was purchased through Amazon In $60ish

Same price in Target. Online Only.

The one in Target is Instant Pot Duo, this is Instant Pot Duo Nova.. a different model

      • Yes, my bad. Thank you.

  • Still waiting for the Instant Pot Pro to be released in Australia. Emailed Instant Brands but no response.

    • Me too - I also asked about the Instant Pot Pro Plus that just got released in the US.

      Nothing

    • I'd also asked them last year about that Evo Duo Plus being released here, and they responded with "No, but there's a new one going to be released in Australia"

I wonder why they stopped responding?
