Really want a great deal on the Duo Crisp to replace my off-brand pressure cooker and my K-Mart air fryer! Doubt I’d use anything else to cook with that delightful implement
Sure you want to spend more on a more complicated device only not to be able to do two things at a time, because your electric pot/pressure/slow/rice cooker/air fryer/oven are going to be the same thing?
agree with above - the idea of the Instant Pot is that you can prepare a meal in a single vessel, i.e. saute then slow-cook or pressure-cook. It's a natural fit. I don't see when you'd combine Air Frying with another mode of cooking the same meal?
also the air fryer lid is huge and awkward to pack away, negating my hope off less clutter
Good for cooking rice, or a rice cooker does the job better?
A rice cooker is an entire class of devices and rice cookers usually don't pressure-cook your rice if you prefer it that way.
Generally I wouldn't buy Instantpot >only< to replace a rice cooker, if that's your motivation here.

Me too - I also asked about the Instant Pot Pro Plus that just got released in the US.
Nothing
I'd also asked them last year about that Evo Duo Plus being released here, and they responded with "No, but there's a new one going to be released in Australia"
I wonder why they stopped responding?
