Just a heads up I was going to pull the trigger then noticed the data transfer speed is only 480Mbps (essentially USB 2.0 although they mention standard USB 3.0)…

USB 3.0 is up to 4.8 Gbit/s (approx 600MB/s) vs USB 2.0 which is up to 480 Mbit/s (approx 60MB/s) in the specifications although you always get less than this

P.S. Still got a few for charging but thought I would point out the possible slow data transfer speeds… thanks for the deal!

    • Good to point out transfer speeds.

I always look at that too as most cheaper cables are only usb 2 speeds, some can't even transer data lol.

I think most people buy short/any usb c cables for charging phones and other gadgets, for data people would

be wise to read and purchase carefully.

    • 99% of the time I will say they're USB 2.0. I missed it this time.

  • the power adapter on MacBook Pro is 87W….will this cable be able to do the job?

Yeah it'll still charge the Macbook Pro but only at 60W so it'll be slower than 87W.
