For some reason I have always found work boots to not fit great and give me blisters, so once I found something that fit well, I ended up only buying them (three sets). Having worn out my latest pair I went to buy again but couldn't find them listed anywhere so had to search for a new pair.

So I settled on these…ordered Tuesday afternoon, arrived Thursday in Brisbane. Used the sizing guide from the Blundstone website, the ones I ordered fit very well which is great considering my previous experience, no rubbing after wearing them for a few hours.

There are a couple of other stores that also have these reduced to a similar price at the moment however WorkWearHub have free shipping and a good range of sizes and state how many of each they have in stock which is nice.

Also, to preempt some contempt for Blundstone since moving offshore, the ones I received are made in Vietnam…

  • I have 2 of these. Have 1 on ice until the first one is worn. Will probably get another since I have a $20 off $100 spend. They give them out a while after you don’t buy anything.

I've had experience with boots failing over time, even when not used. So just be careful with stockpiling boots.

      • Me too.
The glue holding the sole totally failed…rest of shoe was almost brand new.

      • Not sure if it's still the case, but most decent brand safety boots used to have a best before date because the sole will start to harden and no longer be non-slip.

  • is hard yakka a better brand?

    • NO !

Have tried them all, if you're after comfort and support get a pair of Oliver AT's.

      Agreed I get these ones

Rsea sell them for 230 but I get them through an eBay seller for 160 to 170 each time. Never faulted me yet.

    • I agree the AT's are very good, I wore them for many years, but I recently changed to Steel Blue 152's and these are much more comfortable for me.
