Hi all,
I'm looking for a 16" MacBook Pro, base model or base model with 1tb HDD preferably.
Education discount link isn't working for me, instead offering free airpods which aren't of any use to me.
10% off would be great.

Thanks! Strangely I am not getting the discount, I'll have to persist and find a solution.
It might already be applied. The "au-hed" is the education store and you can compare to JB which is at RRP.

I bought some GCs via Macbank. $3000 for a single GC with 5% saving. There are more savings out there but it's a bit more effort.
AOC (Apple On Campus) has additional discounts, so the base 16" MBP with 1TB comes to $3,599.20. Cashback will take off a little bit more.

Unfamiliar with how purchasing via AOC works so I cannot comment on it.
Why would you want a 1TB HDD in a MacBook Pro?
Especially when Apple charges an arm and a leg for any HDD / memory upgrades from the base model.
For the 420.69GB of 8K UUUU-HD ..poetry folder ?
Can you tell it has been quite some time between computer purchases? haha!
Like others said try to get some discounted gift cards. Remember seeing a good cash back from both cashrewards and shopback too. May be others can add if those cash backs repeat or just a one off every year.
Thank you!
pretty much discounted gcs. They are nowadays linked to grocery points but worth it.
The airpods are on top of the education discount… Buy some discounted giftcards to get extra savings. Check the pages link at the top of the page and look at a website called ozbargain
