VVA9LW

amaysim have taken $21 off their 1-year 60Gb $120 mobile plan for $99.

  • 60GB data + unlimited standard talk and text
  • Unlimited Data Banking/Roll-over
  • Ongoing price is $120, renews every 365 days
  • Additional data: $10 for 1GB
  • All for use in Australia on the Optus 4G Plus Network

Don't forget to use cashback to get a further $17 off, so the total should be $82.

Edit: updated the cashback amount to reflect what's showing in my shopback app this morning.

  • Better off with Gomo even if you have to pay more. Voice calling on 3G iis much poorer experience. No wifi calling. No esim support as of yet.

If you are paying more, much better off with Telstra $200 plans which has been discounted below $180 multiple time.

It has all that too, and a wider coverage

      • I could not find the Telstra $200 plan ? Do you have the link?
Also, does it have international calls?

        • Sorry mate. I must have confused it with the Boost ones.

It doesn’t have E-sim, but has everything else.

A little weak on your math there. $99 minus $21 is $78. Not $69.

    • Thanks. Was half asleep when posting this. Also updated to reflect the proper cashback amount on my app this morning.

    Network used?

    • Amaysim uses Optus

Promo code not listed on cashrewards so probably wont get cashback?

    • Thanks for the heads up. Has anyone tried to see if the cashback works with this code?

      • My shopback has $17 pending this morning from my purchase last night. Will update if it goes through.

        • how come its only $17 not $21?

          • @bargaingalor3: Yeah was thinking the same thing. I think $21 was with the original $120 cost, but with the reduced price resulting in reduced cashback.

Cashback is ineligible when using codes not listed on Cashrewards. Codes that auto-apply on amaysim's website at checkout are eligible for cashback.

Pretty sure this falls into the latter since the code is auto-applied.
I've also successfully gotten cashback from these amaysim promos in the past.

    No esim. Deal breaker.

  • 13 months since the last deal, meaning loyal customers have either locked in at the higher price or not so loyal customers have gone elsewhere. I'll be in the not so loyal group in 11 months time…

  • Does anyone know what happen if you port out of this before a year, do you get some money back?

    • hahaha

      • worth asking :-D

        • Unlikely, but there are a few Amaysim deals on for shorter time periods on OzB.

          • @buffalo bill: I'm already with them but i'm thinking of switching to Felix with international roaming in a few months when i'm travelling overseas…

    • No. Amaysim's gotten free money from you though!

      • im not sure about committing a year with Amaysim!

  • Plan is good but missing international calls which Coles mobile offers in similar price range…

Is it for new customers only, or can existing Amaysim users enjoy it?

    • I'm a current Amaysim customer and haven't been able to order it on the same number.

      • I checked their T&Cs:

        Eligible Customers Customers who:
        • place a new online order for an Eligible Plan at amaysim.com.au
        during the Promotion Period; and
        • enter an approved payment method when prompted,
are eligible for the Promotion Benefits.

"Place a new online order" could mean new users only, but that's not what a normal person would reasonably assume. Could kick up a stink about it with their support if needed I reckon.
