AMEX sign up bonus within 18 months

Hey,

Wondering if anyone has recently had any luck getting the Amex sign up bonuses despite having an Amex within the last 18 months?

I’ve heard some people having luck when applying for a charge card when already owning a credit card.

Credit and charge cards used to be treated differently so you got both bonuses but that stopped around 2018/19.

You might slip through the cracks and get the bonus but I wouldn't bank on it
