Assistance Tracking down RYOBI RAC821 Aerator Reel Attachment

Hey Ozbargainers

I really want to get my hands on the aerator reel for my Ryobi scarifier, but straya

Amazon wont ship it from anywhere to Aus and I cant find any suitable looking websites to ship it here either

Any advice on a safe method to get it here?

I have reviewed some of the drop shipping places but most seem to have very poor reviews or super expensive

    Any idea how much it weighs? Quite limited on luggage but I might be able to bring one back for you as flying soon if you can't find any other way.

      yeah thats the only place that seemed to ship directly, but the reveiws are also iffy so thats put me off

        I've heard it doesn't really aerate it, but i still want it..

    Wow thanks, according to the Amazon listing its 780g, I'd say the box would be about 40cm x 5cm

      Hmm, it's on Prime too so can easily get it delivered next day. Just need to figure out space and weight. Don't return till back end of next week so will be packing bag around Thursday and will have to see. 25 KG limit and suitcase alone is 4 KG of that… No promises but will try if you really want it.

    Have you tried asking Bunnnigs special order? They can order the majority of items and parts from the Ryobi catalogue but you need to actually ask them as they don't list it on the website.

    I found them on ebay Australia but unfortunately they sold out. Seller says he is getting more stock next week.

          Ah sorry mate, I'm packed already and leaving for airport in a few hours. Might be going back again in 2-3 months time though.

            @Hybroid: No worries cheers. I just bit the bullet and ordered from bigamart for $115 AUD. Pretty brutal but for some reason this roller is super rare outside of Europe, where they sell it for peanuts but every single Euro store selling it refuses to ship to Australia. I had no idea there was such a bad relationship between Euro sellers and Australia. I'm assuming its because of greedy GST laws by our govt that just screw the consumer by driving away sellers.

              @Ash Bowden: It’s literally demand and supply scalping since not available in AU. GST doesn’t triple the price and also £22 UK price includes 20% VAT anyway.
