They had 10% off yesterday + 12% off cashback.
That's the 2017 version unfortunately
Oops… my bad…
I got my 2019 for $280 a few months back.
Quick heads up, the Nvidia Shield Plex server software is broken at the moment since Nvidia updated from Android 9 to 11. I bought a Shield Pro in late December 2021 for use as a Plex server & have not been able to use it for that advertised purpose at all & it is now into February & Nvidia/Plex are still working on a fix.

Just wanted to let you know in case that was why you were interested in the Shield Pro.
Maybe apple tv 4k is a better choice for Plex?
Certainly the Nvidia is useless as a Plex server at the moment - till they fix the software. That said I have no experience with the Apple TV 4K, so I can’t say if that is a viable alternative.
ATV 4K doesn't do a Plex server, no
Best price I have seen at the moment is GoodGuys Commercial - $317. Could possibly get it for around $322 using ebay price beat of Umart who is next cheapest but risky as you have to purchase off ebay first then they need to approve the pricematch and issue a voucher for difference in price plus 5% of the competitors price. Guaranteed they will try to get out of it if they can so need to be aware of the fine print.
Thanks, I'll wait till it drops to $269.
Is apple tv 4k a better choice? It's $100 cheaper and has hdmi 2.1
Depends what you want to do - I have a 2017 shield so looking to upgrade and have everything setup how I like it with Kodi, Live TV etc. So Apple TV no good for me with my setup.
Mine went in the bin as soon as they let Google turn it into a ad box.
It's definitely a shame, but there's still nothing on the market that can compete with its codec support, other than maybe the ATV4k; which has far fewer features.
I just bought one. I went into the good guys and they did it for $319 for me. Not the best price but still better than RRP and they had stock on the spot.
