Yes. Yeast, fruits, nuts,…
How do I buy it? Do I need a membership?
I'd say so, I don't really know, but this came up, for one, when I googled.
Is this actually cheap historically? Anyone here keeping an eye on prices for these things?
I don't but had a quick look around and seems to be a good price, CCC for Amazon seems to report the cheapest price was $319 and GoodGuys Commercial is selling it for $312 (other prices I've found it are all more expensive) so this price from Costco including freight does seem good…
Yes, I'm pretty sure that's the historical lowest price it has ever been
I've been eyeing this for the past couple of months. The lowest I saw is $279 from Appliance Online. Would buy this if I'm a member. Might wait for Amazon to price match.
on the website it says
Price valid from 2022/02/11 to 2022/02/11so only for 1 day? or is this a generic message?
It's a one day sale
Has anyone had experience getting JB or GG etc to price match Costco?
Amazon had SD-R2530KST black colour was down to $199 as the lowest price last year, what's the difference? Anyone know?
As far as I can tell they are identical apart from colour.
You can pick between the 2 on the Amazon listing. Black one is $10 more

It does not dispense yeast.
Yep you're right. I missed that
Looks like the only difference is the automatic yeast dispenser. If you prepare the mix in reverse (water first, salt, sugar, flour) and then make a little volcano and put in the yeast, then you dont really need the dispenser anyway.
This one has got a few more programs and automatic yeast dispenser.
FWIW, the 2550 has
* stainless steel-look exterior
* yeast dispenser
* rye kneading blade
* rye menu (Menu 12)
* timing of yeast dispenser based on menu and room temperature.
* Machine weight 7.5kg instead of 7.0kg for 2530
* Makes your wallet feel a little lighter
It doesn't look like it has a folding paddle - I'll stick with the Breville 'foolscap' model I got for $5 at the scouts 25 years ago - but I wouldn't know if it does the reverse spin to fold back the blade as I've only got the 'jam\dough ' paddle, so it leaves a hole in the middle of the loaf. It still has enough flat left to unstick the spindle after baking though, so it'll last a while yet otherwise this would have been under consideration..
Says $319.98.
Is this the one that automatically adds the yeast?
