My Groupon $8.95 for 6 months Amaysim is on the last month and will be expiring in a couple of days; a couple of weeks ago I got an email from Amaysim-

Hey *****, congrats on your free renewals!

Your number 0********* will now get the following 5 renewals for free! 🎉
Reminder: Keep auto renew on and continue to enjoy this exclusive plan.

Has anyone else received this email?

I can't find anything in my account about these free renewals and I'm a bit wary as to the need to keep auto-renewal on if the next five are supposed to be free.
Should I remove my card details so I don't get "accidentally" charged?

      Not sure if others have the same issue, but I can never get their live chat to work (on PC). Fill in details of problem and contacts, get to next page to 'start a live chat', click the button and nothing happens.

      Has been like that for about the last 3 weeks, as I have been trying to follow up on the same or similar promo for my wife.

    got the same - and no other emails or notices either that details what exactly is offered… so ported out the number as amaysim didn't respond etc

    I got the same offer as well a few months ago, just had to keep auto-renew ON and it was working.

    I got the offer and it just rolled over onto the next lot of renewals and kept my data bank. Pretty good deal of $6 for 11 months usage.

    I got a text message but no email so thought it was probably dodgy. You have now reminded me to contact them as the renewal date is soon? I always set the payment to BPAY to stop incorrect payment. Last month the final Groupon renewal didn't work which seems to happen far too frequently so I had to contact them anyway.

      Yes good idea about changing payment method to BPay; I'd already done that last night as a precaution to not get charged $10, but then wondered if I'll do myself out of the free renewals.

    Yes I got text message about pay $12 and get 5 renewals. No follow up email. So i contacted them online chat they were useless. Then I called and they apparently sorted it out, my first renewal occurs next week. But yesterday I got another offer for 3 months at half price? So now I am wondering if it was sorted out?

    !00% off for 5 renewals on $12 UNLIMITED 2GB
    Ongoing $12/28 days

    Total Owing $0.00

    it also had a red PAID stamp on it

    I haven't been charged from my bank either so it must be legit, so good onya Amaysim!
