Hmm, do Cash Rewards and ShopBack sign non disclosure agreements with the company reps so as to not advertise your increased cashback promos during a competitiors increased cashback for the same company?

Or is it just a coincidence that this has come out as soon as the Shopback BigW increased cashback promo ended?

    • +1

Maybe it’s Big W who wants to spread the promos out?

  • what's with the amount $150 and Valentine's Day? like the Prezzee promotion spend $150 to get a $10 bonus gift card.

If you're that desperate for 30 bucks just stand on a busy street and hold out a can.

    • You’ll likely have cashback voided for part or even the entire order, because you must have the proof of purchase to initiate a return under BIG W’s change of mind policy.

Once the proof of purchase is used to initiate the return transaction, BIG W’s systems will notice that you returned at least one item, which would mean the transaction amount (and as a consequence, the cashback amount) is likely to be updated to reflect this.

Even if you feign forgetfulness and don’t have the proof of purchase with you if you try to initiate a return at a physical BIG W store, staff will likely make the effort to find the original transaction in their system.

      • He said after receiving cashback.

        • I suggest you read clause 5.5.b.ii of Cashrewards’ terms and conditions.

We will not credit you with Rewards, and we may without notice to you at any time withhold Rewards, and adjust, reverse, deduct or cancel Rewards already credited and decline or reverse any Withdrawal request if any of the below has occurred, or we have reason to believe any of the below has occurred:

          • you subsequently cancel or vary the relevant transaction, return the goods or services the subject of the relevant transaction for refund or credit, or fail to pay for the order in full;

Basically, even if cashback is paid out to you in regards to a transaction, there’s a chance Cashrewards will reverse any cashback awarded to you if they are notified (or even only suspect) that the original transaction has been altered. There is nothing to say in this cannot happen even after cashback has been credited to an account and is paid out to a PayPal/bank account (but it would get difficult in that case).

The chances of cashback being reversed 95 days after purchase is probably not as high as 45 days after purchase, but it is a risk they’re taking… or thinking about taking.

@WookieMonster: Of course it is against T&Cs. I'm sure OP is aware.

To be fair, quite a few 'deals' on ozb are against t&cs. It's not illegal but clearly (imo) bad practise in most cases.

I wonder if they’ll have any more lego in stock by tomorrow. Still sulking about most of the stuff I wanted being out if stock before the shopback event started.

  • +1

Does it stack with Afterpay's Plus offer ($10 off $50 spend)?

    • +1

Yes as Afterpay doesn’t use promo code

  • +2

The lego stock is already gone. Nothing to see here. Too late to the party this time.

  • Can you use a Big W gift card with this offer?

  • Min spend of $150 to qualify for the 15% cashback killed it for me with shopback.. hopefully cashrewards is more generous

  • Did anyone have a problem where you can't check out? It gets stuck at searching the delivery address or pickup location? This issue only occurs when I click into BigW via Cashrewards and it works fine if I go to BigW directly. The issue occurs even when I try different browsers and clearing the cache. Have tried Chrome, Edge and Firefox. I had the same issue last time when Cashrewards was doing cashback for BigW.

    • Hi Siuto,
Please try via the Cashrewards mobile app. Thanks.

      • Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried it on another computer and it is working. Not sure why it wouldn't work on my original computer which was working previously.

  • Is this eligible for pre order items?

  • Does this stack with bigw $10 welcome promo code?
