Coming in at $5.83 per litre, I don't think I've seen it this cheap ever for good quality Australian EVOO. Usually $9 per litre when on sale.
Too much EVOO? Pass some on to the family or friends.

Bought Aldi's Cobram clone while waiting for a Cobram deal, it's ok, certainly not bitter but lacking in flavour if anything. Anyone know how RedRock compares to the Aldi?

thick rich and fresh - deep golden colour with a touch of green in sunlight - the right level of mild bitters at first taste - then bitterness totally disappears from mouth - ie its the real deal

If you think you're buying Greek, Italian or Spanish olive oil for preference you need to look very carefully at the labels. They mostly source their product elsewhere BECAUSE there's more global demand than 'local' supply in these countries. When they do bother to say where it came from, it can be North Africa, the Middle East or even further afield. More often than not they don't even say where it came from! Here's an example of what I'm talking about. I have a three litre can of Bertolli EV OO Cold Extracted. Woohoo! Bertolli is a respected Italian grocery name. Now read the can. The olive oil was PACKED in Spain! However there is NO indication of where the oil was produced on the can! Probably Morocco!
