First off I can't wear round neck T-shirts. They make feel really uncomfortable.
Twelve or more years ago I bought a bunch of lighweight cotton polo necks (with pockets) from Lowes menswear. They weigh 180g now, probably ~200grams when new.
They are becoming threadbare now so I've been looking to replace them. All I'm finding is heavy cotton/ polyester blends. The cotton ones I've found are very thick, typically > 350grams for an XL.
Anyone know of a shop selling what I'm after, more or less?

Try KMart, they have a good range. However, Polo neck shirts with pockets are getting hard to find nowadays.
Possibly because the pockets were often used for keeping cigarette packs in when almost everyone smoked.
