With a special built-in filter, these are the only lenses that block 99.9% of bright, glaring light.

What if you wanted polarization in the first pair?

      Tough titties…

    • Talking about glasses?

    • You just pay the fee for polarisation On that pair.

    • Pretty sure the pricing model at Specsavers means 1 pair from the $149+ range costs just as much as 2 pairs (provided you're choosing from the same range)

  • In store too or only online

Might be a slightly niche comment BUT most car head up displays turn invisible when you wear polarised lenses, just beware if this applies to you 😂

    I'm already polarising enough

In the last 3-4 years I've never NOT gotten free polarising at specsavers. Don't think this is a deal.

    • They run this promo twice a year every year: Feb and November

  • This is a very polarized world

  • I have never understood the appeal of polarised lenses.

I had a pair of polarised sunnies as a teenager. the performance was similar to a pair of normal glasses, only they kept adding random rainbows in places they weren't there.

For me, this is clever marketing. Why anyone would pay more for this service baffles me. Even durning the promo, for me personally I would get 2 normal pairs.

Polarisation does make a difference. Especially when you're driving on wet roads on sunny days and if you're fishing. It helps deal with the reflection of the sun from the water.

      • how does it compare to their "UltraDrive" option for driving? i cant tell the diffs

        • +1

Sure, there are are rare and isolated circumstances where these are better, but for general driving or going to the park they are not. They keep adding distracting rainbows.

When it is wet I usually don't need glasses. If I lived by a lake, or in an area where it snowed alot while the sun was out, i would consider it but for general use in normal sunny conditions, there is no benefit.

          • @biggweilo: ok yeah i meant in general too coz both Ultradrive and Polarising options seem the same to me? but one is $60 and other is $100 respectively

  • whats difference between POLARISING, ULTRADRIVE TINT and SUPERCLEAN??
