Most monitors at this resolution and curve are 144hz which I don't really need, wondering if there's a cheaper option without high refresh rate.
Does 3440x1440@60/75hz Curved Ultrawide Monitor Exist?

Dell does 34 inch curved 3440x1440 @ 60 Hhz monitors, but they aren't cheap.

My older older U3419W (also USB-C) also fits the specs, but don't know if it's gotten any cheaper now. Perhaps a non-USB-C model exists that's cheaper
Not really, there's just no market. 144 Hz is not that expensive to implement. The two markets are the gaming / general use market, and the professional market, which prioritises colour accuracy and display quality. There really isn't anything in between.
Just go for the Kogan 29'' curved,

Get the 29'' and forgo the 4k resolution (I did) and i can barely tell the differenceIf you think more than 75hz is overkill just wait till you get 4k at 60cm from your face.
1440p isn't 4k. At 29" UW, you're right though - 1080p is all you need. However, assuming OP is after 34" which is where you do need 1440p.
I don't think so with a curve specifically. Plenty of flat 1440p ultrawide @ 75Hz, but not curved. Flat are generally for work use, with curved being for gaming - hence all the curved ones having higher refresh.
