      Obviously no one should expect Kathmandu to be on par with arcteryx but triple the weight is odd for shelll. 1kg+ is similar to insulated ski jackets

  this is a good shell i bought myself, its still on sale but only size medium left in stock by the looks of it, the fit is on the larger side so you can wear a jumper underneath
