  I've owned the 167G for a while now, Average reception. Drivers aren't an issue on any windows or linux i've tried.

    Chipset gets rather hot within ten seconds of plugging in - I've opened one up. Reception/speeds improve when air is blown across the chipset.

    generally you have to get the official samsung wifi adaptor to guarantee it will work.

    Depend on what wireless router you have, if N300, I would take the USB-N13 to take advantage of it.
