Not a bad deal for the blue controller considering you could sell the game for around $45. Game has terrible reviews and will drop in price very quickly so I recommend selling asap if you aren't interested in playing.

    Nice controller, terrible game.

  • The game might even become free to play.

Fancy Blue controller + free coaster, neat deal!

Who wanna buy that game for $45 must be mad.

Sorry I should state I did a simple search on ebay for the game and its most resent sale figures. The game is selling second hand for $45 so for a brand new sealed game it could go for more.

    • Isn't it $39 or $49 new?

  • Couldn't get $20 for bf2042..

Or atleast that would be my buy in for that game

  • They’re desperate to get this game sold

Yes this is the first time in history that EA has bundled a game with a playstation controller

Who’s buying this game for 45 dollars, gimme their number.

Edit: I just want to talk

I think the game worth $0, so 119 for the controller is not a bargain.

I had such high hopes for this game after seeing the trailer.

they really messed up everything Battlefield.

From best series to progressively worse over the decades.

  • Excellent controller and poop-filled game.

You will not get $45 for the game. People are trying to flog it for $30 on Market and Gumtree and having trouble from what I've seen.

I downloaded it on the free to play weekend to trial it and it was garbage. I stopped playing after 30 minutes and uninstalled. Wasn’t even worth my time when it was free.

      • +1

lol..did the same, just dont enjoy the game for some reason.

        • It’s just so soulless, empty and incomplete. Older/other games are just more fun. Playing felt like a chore.

  • This game made me cry.

Don’t be sad, this is just how it works out sometimes

For those interested, I was able to get my BF2042 refunded. Ordered from Amazon on PC (so just recieved a game case with a code inside, no disc) and i pre ordered too. Waited till yesterday to try the game again, fired it up for the first time in a month to realise its still broken as, i wont go into detail but i was frustrated.

Called amazon and they took a minute to figure it out and understand what i was saying, i explained the game is broken and developers are refunding due to this, and in the end they were happy refund to me.

Figured this may be useful to others who have brought the game too.

    • Absolutely useful, same boat and thought I was stuck with it. Thanks!

    • thank you i just tried this via amazon online chat, the person was confused that i wanted to return a game that i bought in November and was asking how i would send it back but when i made it clear that the game itself was broken ( filled with errors and bugs ) she processed a refund straight away

      • I just sold mine on Gumtree. I wish I knew that Amazon could have refunded it ;(

  • oh, they found a way to flog this game. ha ha ha

What’s going on with Battlefield? The last good one that I remember was the WW1 game. Maybe apart from the silliness of putting a black soldier on the cover of what was essentially a European conflict. BFV then dialled it up a lot and as a result, had a lot of controversy over its forced diversity politics. And BF2042 is just boring, I guess?

How difficult can it be to create an engaging military shooter?

OP you never sell BF2042 dor $45 even its brand new.

PS : I bought pre-order BF2042 far more than that and I regret it. Full of bugs and broken game. Empty AU servers.

Couldn't sell battlefield for $35 it Adelaide.
Luckily ended up trading it for another game

  • Trade in value at eb games for bf 2042 ?

    • I think I remember reading you divide the pre-owned price they have the game for online by 3 and that's the trade in price. If that is correct you can get $29 for it as they have the game for $88 pre-owned

Don't forget EB World bonus so if you are level 4 you get an extra 20% trade credit
