I bought one for myself, sound is is good for $25, wireless charging works well. The only complain, there is no white noise option like advertised. However there are 4 nature sounds but i felt none of them were soothing. Radio works well, has bluetooth as well, love the big screen for time display (can see the time from 20 steps away).

Nothing to brag about. Judging from your profile photo, that would only be, what, a couple of metres?

the white noise option is available when you tune between stations

Thumbnail looks like the clock is held together with masking tape

The reject shop has a Fabric Desktop Charger 10W With Pen Holder for $20 for those that don't need a speaker because they have computer speakers or an Alexa. Just thought someone might get some use for an office desk as it is functional.

The reject shop has come out with funky stuff lately…

      • I just love the fact they sell UK chocolate and stock Tesco's items (It's the UK nicer supermarket). I just hope they are taking a profit, as there were in trouble 2 years back

dab missed the boat here in australia. online streaming has taken over.
better off with google or echo to play music

Will be good in winter time. Keep warm while listening to some tunes.

  • I don't know about the quality of this particular unit, but the idea is a match made in heaven. A bedside clock radio with wireless charge pad on top? It's hard to imagine two products more suitable to be integrated. Just make sure you switch your phone off before bed, remove temptation to reach over and check stuff during the night.

Thanks OP. Don't need it to sound great, but it is an excellent combo. Grabbed one

  • OP, when switching from clock to radio / bluetooth etc, does it announce the mode? I

No, it doesn’t. It just shows on display what mode you are in.

So I just picked this up today. Pretty impressed! Sounds decent and the bluetooth is nice. Bargain for $25.

  • Saw this deal and picked one up today on my way to picking up a new (well ok no, second hand lol) phone which has wireless charging.
Some worthwhile unexpected improvements too like the alarm has Mon-Fri/Sat-Sun only options, and (yet to try) it says in the manual it has the steady volume increase for the alarms. Seems pretty good first impression for $25.

I guess the question is reliability then! touchwood

  • Hi, can anyone tell me how dim the clock is? Wouldn't want it to be too bright at night next to the bed - just bright enough to tell the time if I get up in the middle of the night.

    • There's 6 brightness setting. Last level is off. At the lowest level I found it too bright after my night vision kicks in. I have an old am/fm red led alarm clock, this thing was brighter than red leds. So in the end I turned off the display. It can easily be turned back on by hitting snooze button. The speaker sounds good has a decent bass compared to old clock radio. New clock radio will be a keeper.
Yes I just bought it yesterday.

      • Thanks

      • Same feedback from me too. At night even the lowest setting you can see it "light up" slightly the walls and objects it's facing. It's not too bad but enough that I'll deal with it eventually.
My last one was similar though and I "fixed" that putting a some old plastic coloured in red marker to make it a dimmer "red display".
Have to make the same for this one when I rummage up something appropriate.
