  This is seriously not a good idea. Phones and lithium batteries hate heat.
  A better solution are the air vent mounts- cold air blowing on your phone on a hot day keeps things cool.

    I don't disagree but I'm often worried about the opposite - the air coming out the AC is around 2-4'C which is way too cold for lithium batteries - any experts want to add to this discussion?

      it's not the cold you'd have to worry about, more the heat for when you crank the heater up in winter. Heat doesn't go well with batteries/electronics.

  Have one of these. Useless for me as my phone screen gets polarized/ invisible when viewed through sunglasses in landscape orientation. Do check before buying.
