Hi Ozdeal community,
Do you know where to get good French butter in Melbourne?
Lescure or president or beurre d'isigny? Or which brand you recommend?
Thank you

Woolworths (most of them) sell President. $3.50 this week.
Woolies also sells Lescure (when available)
Lune, the croissant place, says they use Beurre d’Isigny.
You know where to get it?
Thank you 😊
@try2bhelpful: Many thanks. Butter is one of those little pleasures. With moderation 😊
@Raj09: Absolutely. Nothing beats really good bread with good butter.
Been using Le Conquerant
I saw that. I'll try
French butter. Love it.
Why, what's so good about it
I second this question. What's the attraction of "French" butter?
Fresh creamery butter. Is there anything more comforting? I say there is. And perhaps you'll agree when you sample fat-free Farmer's Bounty French butter with the genuine essence of creamery butter in every bite. With every mouthful, you shall receive butter's luxurious comfort in your mouth without adding to the luxury of your waistline.
@SydStrand: I'll try. I'm giving each butter a shot. French butter appeals to me. I like them creamy in the mouth and luxurious to the taste. Same for the French women 😊😂😂
@Raj09: Ahh, the old, “how does a French woman hold her liquor” joke.
@SydStrand: Incredibly niche reference this one, but I rate it.
Giving each butter a fair shot 😊

It's tasty - slightly fermented with lactic acid and saltier.
Get mine from Costco. Pricey, though.
Have you seen this guy’s butter reviews if you need help deciding? https://youtube.com/user/laxivan2. Was introduced to this on another ozb butter forum post.
Oh cool. He recommends great Ocean road. I loved the taste. My only gripe was the packaging had a tendency to tear. Many thanks
Try Lard Ass butter if you can find it, not french but really good
Will do
I remember one of them selling in Costco.
