Derwent Ferries with the support of the Hobart Council are offering free ferry rides for anyone who has a Bicycle, eScooter or PMD. The ferries travel on weekdays between the Hobart CBD Brook Street Pier and Bellerive Pier across the river. Normally the fare costs $3.50 each way for adults.

Considering eScooters/PMDs are now fully legalised I recommend taking a trip each way as there are some good riding tracks.

Saturday ferry trips are running until Feb 5th.
