Think this is only for expired accounts.. perhaps [Targeted] would be appropriate?

    Targeted.

    • Poop

  • Hmm, I have active subscription and shows up as 50% off for me. Of course as my subscription is current I didn't try and buy it.

    • I'd be tempted and it would be great if it stacks with the current subscription…

    • Until you try to sign in to purchase. It shows as already owned (PS+)

Not really a deal as $16.95 for 3 months @ $67.80 when x 4 for 12 months is $79.95. Consider that I only buy and stack when $55 Black Friday, State of Play or Afterpay deal 12 months @ $33. Currently stacked out until 2025 so just pick off the deals when they show up and extend the best way to save heaps of dollars.

      • +2

It is a deal but not necessarily a good one. I do the same and stack at either June/blackfriday sales.

      • That's assuming one wants it for longer than 3 months.

        • Thats right….There's no better feeling having to remember to renew something 4 times per year and paying double to do so….. Jokes :)

    Rename title to
Get 9 utterly horrible games you will never play, over a period of 3 months for $16.95

      Your opinion…

And Unlock online multiplayer and cloud storage for game files

    • That's because PS Plus is not GamePass.

It's an online multiplayer subscription with essentially a few free trial games thrown in

    • +1

Hmm less than $2 a game by your reckoning.

I would love to sign up, but I would need a PS5 for that, which seems impossible to buy :(

No, you just haven't tried very hard. Go to a JB or EB and put your name on a waitlist if you actually want one. Unless you are regional or remote its not hard you just can't expect to pick one off the shelves because that's not going to happen.

      • +2

Yep got told no wait lists, to check Twitter or website.

        • EB definitely do wait lists when they announce it (not just walk in). JB is hit and miss apparently. I'm sure if you called a few stores you would at least get pointed in the right direction.

          • @Damannation: Yes tried walks ins a few times at JB and EB but was told no such thing happening.

Anyway doesn't matter now, after you guys inspired me to "try harder" … I managed to snag a pre-order with EB when they announced it earlier this week. It was sold out within about 2 minutes, but somehow I got lucky. Picking it up on Friday from my local.

Any idea where I can get a discounted Playstation Plus 12 month sub from?

      • Yep. I only had to wait a week last year until JB for one in stock for me.

It’s the Series X that has the long wait times.

        • Wow a week is pretty decent, you must've got in at the right time! took nearly a year for mine to arrive!

    • you can buy it on the playstaion app on your phone

  • Do you get to keep the free games you download after the playstation plus ends?

    • +1

No. They get locked out. Active subscription is required to play the games acquired though PSN Plus.

      • Thanks!

    • +1

You end up with a fair few games over the years. Well worth the $240 if you pay full RRP over three years.

  • +1

Sweet. Now all I need is a playstation.

  • spewing i missed out on the 12 month subscription
