  • This one has 50% more peroxide https://www.amazon.com.au/Colgate-Whitening-Toothpaste-Hydro…

Though it's the exact same price per gram of peroxide, so you could just use 50% more of the 2% per brushing?

I have been using both for the past year and a half. I don't have whiter teeth, and both have terrible taste. I stocked up in bulk and am down to my final tube now, can't wait to switch

      • So you've been getting a total of 5% peroxide if you've been brushing with both?

        • Hah! Definitely not. I used up the lower peroxide tubes first and then the higher ones last. I think I bought like 7 of each tube when they were an Amazon lightning deal. Been a slog getting through them.

It's not enough peroxide to make any noticeable difference based on my experience.

      • The only way to whiten teeth is the dentist.

      • Just buy a teeth whitening kit from eBay, the Phillips ones are the same used by professionals.

They do the job, one off! These toothpastes are much worse for your teeth.

  • This seems very expensive for a tube of toothpaste, like I’d pay $2 usually. I have bought Whiteglow on half price sale for $3.50 in the past too & it came with an extra toothbrush.

Either way this does not seem like a deal unless I’m missing something…

  • Would only reconmend using this product for around 2 weeks this swapping back to "normal" toothpaste for a while. Using the whole tub at onces may damage your enamal which could lead to sensitive / weakening of the teeth.

This says it is enamel safe for daily use.

    • That's only if you use charcoal toothpaste

These colgate ones are safe to use everyday, I've been using these for 3 years straight

    • Been using it for months - no issues, no comments from my dentist, teeth still fine as always. This stuff won't whiten your teeth like a proper treatment, but seems to have helped a little bit with stains from coffee and wine.
