I guess I got used to getting 10 $1 FVFs every month from eBay last year but it all dried up around Christmas - nothing in my account since then.
Anyone score any good promos this month?

Nothing here since November either, been a dry spell over the past few months after they cut ties with Gumtree free listings also.
Maybe the new managing director is against promos? https://www.ebayinc.com/stories/press-room/au/ebay-australia…
eBay is killing us good ol second-hand resellers.
nothing here either. Suspect they are changing strategies on the promos. It must have leaked reasonable $ for them over the years.
I think a lot of people (like me) wouldn't use eBay except for their promos. Definitely not getting stung for full eBay/Ayden fees. I always read Facebook marketplace is the way to go - guess I will have to try that one of these days
Facebook marketplace currently subscale and doesn't have the outreach that eBay has. Agree that 13% final fee is high but their argument would be you are likely to get a better price using their platform.
Who knows, they may bring the promo back but there is little chance to getting around it in the meantime.
Obviously it largely depends on what you're selling but selling elsewhere you have the option to play around with 1-13% cheaper than what you want to/expect to sell it for on eBay.
Downside is it's arguably easier to sell on eBay if you don't wanna deal with people coming to your house to pick whatever it is you're selling up etc.
eBay gotta fund their OmG 22% eBaY pLuS coupons somehow :(
Only thing I've got recently besides free insertion (eyyyyyyyy) is:
Pay a 5%* variable final value fee on trading cards listings
Super strange as I don't think I've ever bid on or even browsed trading cards on eBay
Here we are, March 1st and still no offers.
Whats are eBay doing? It looks like the discounted FVFs are not coming at all nowCame here to ask the same thing. Those promotions are the only time I sell on eBay. If their final value fees were more reasonable at say 5% (or at least 10% at the highest) I may not rely so heavily on the promos, but at 13% it's a joke, especiallty when there use to be PayPal fees on top of that, and especially when that's charged on the shipping as well.
It's a shame for buyers as well as eBay could have a much stronger second hard market than it currently has.
IKR. Say you sell a $75 item you would be lucky to see $55 assuming it fits in the smallest post satchel and after eBay's oversized cut.
Need to be FVF discounts or they make it not worth doingMy gut says $1 or zero FVF won't come back.
Most of the passive sellers are just going to sit on the sideline now. Looks like they have also increase their rates for the professional sellers too.
Oh crap, I was literally just trying to find out what the hell is going on: filthy
My last one was in November.
Bloody pain, I've got some $200+ shite to sell and waiting for a promotion.
